During World War II, a U.S. army secret division made up of artists, musicians, film producers and audio engineers fine tuned the art of deceptive warfare. They were known as the Ghost Army and they specialized in "acoustical shadows." They were a "traveling roadshow of deception," and helped turn the tide against Hitler and the Axis powers. In 2020, Willpilot set out to form a group that encompasses a unique skillset. A band that could reimagine the singer/songwriter's punk and soul infused style with modern jazz expressionism. The Acoustic Shadows were born, and they have been turning Willpilot songs inside out ever since. Everything is game, all ideas are plausible.                                                                                                                                                                                      The bands mantra is "always play an honest note.”
